Rheostats Grooved Type – Physics Laboratory Equipment
- Grooved tube wound with eureka wires on 5.6 cm 2 ½” dia tube in grooved to avoid loosening of wire.
- Brushes of hard laminated brass are phosphorus bronze strips.
- Finished in tiden grey and bright chrome.
- Rheostats are available in several ranges.
- Temperature resistance 1000c above room temperature.
- These are made with special non breakable vitreous enameled steel tubes.
- The winding is locked into place with ceramic cement.
- The tube is carried upon robust enameled die-cast end stands and the heavy duty sliding contact is of the multi leaf phosphor bronze type.
