Dip Needle – Physics Equipment

Dip Needle is available with graduated aluminum arc size 75 mm. The Needle carefully balanced in sheet pivot. Large demonstration dip needle shows inclination of earth’s magnetic field.  Use needle as a compass to find the direction of the horizontal component of the earth’s field.  Then orient dip needle vertically so that it lies in the north-south plane.
