Axial Fan Test Rig

Description:

This equipment comprises of a Axial Flow Fan coupled to a DC Motor. Power input to the DC Motor is varied by means of a Thyristor controlled DC Drive to vary the RPM of motor. A RPM Indicator with Proximity sensor indicates the RPM of Axial Fan. A Pitot Tube with manometer is provided in the delivery line of Axial fan for static and dynamic and differential pressure measurement.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION:

• Axial Fan :                                          Compatible Capacity.
• Driver :                                                1HP DC motor with Thyristor controlled DC Drive for                                                                            variable speed.
• Pitot tube (with manometer)  :      For Static, Dynamic & Differential Pressure measurement 
• Stop watch:                                        Electronic.
• Control Panel Comprises of:            Standard make On/Off Switch, Mains Indicator, etc.
• RPM measurement:                          RPM Indicator with Proximity sensor.
• Energy measurement:                      Electronic Energy meter, L&T make.

• An ENGLISH instruction manual consisting of experimental procedures, block diagram etc. will be
• provided along with the Apparatus
• The whole set-up is well designed and arranged on a rigid structure painted with industrial PU Paint.
